Quick Take:
Your Lookout membership just got even better!
Our members already receive a suite of unique benefits, including full access to all Lookout content, the opportunity of community betterment by supporting a nonprofit of their choosing, direct engagement with our newsroom and more. Now, that suite is about to get sweeter (yes, we went there).
This coming week, we are launching “SC Insiders” – specially curated events, concerts, tours, and more, only for Lookout members! Live like a true local, with VIP access to experiences you can’t find anywhere else. This program is tailor-made to give you a truly unique taste of Santa Cruz.
Each month, starting in May, we’ll host a new, unique SC Insiders event for our members. And we’re starting with a bang! On Monday, May 3 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., one of Santa Cruz’s favorite musicians, Taylor Rae, returns home to play an intimate evening concert exclusively for Lookout members!
We are reserving five seats at this exclusive event for new Lookout members who sign up before midnight Saturday, May 1. Sign up to become a Lookout member here and use the code RAEINSIDERS in the spot where it says “Have a discount code?” and you’ll receive a ticket as a limited-time-only membership benefit.
We’ll be making many more exciting SC Insiders announcements in the coming weeks and months so stay tuned!
More on Taylor Rae

Taylor Rae is a guitarist, singer and songwriter born and raised in the mountains of Santa Cruz. She has consistently been releasing albums and singles since she was a sophomore in high school. Now, at 27, Taylor has found a way to modernize her unique 60s & 70s inspired sound while blending jazz, psychedelic folk and classic blues/rock into a melting pot of organic music she calls “Soul and Roll.” In 2017, she was awarded the Santa Cruz NEXTies “Musician of the Year.” Taylor has a new album and single in the works that will be released later this year.
For a sampling of what you’ll get to experience at the concert, check out this track from Taylor’s new album, coming out later this year.
