County announces expansion of Ramsay Park coronavirus testing site

The state-operated COVID-19 testing site at Ramsay Park will now be open seven days a week and will double testing capacity.
County health officials announced a significant expansion of the state-operated COVID-19 testing site at Ramsay Park in Watsonville on Wednesday.
The site will now operate seven days a week and double its capacity, being able to process up to 330 individuals per day.

With some small-town triumphs — including help from some UC Santa Cruz scientists — and some frustrating roadblocks,...
Testing at Ramsay Park is free and available to anyone, with or without symptoms.
The county requested this expansion last month, along with a new testing site in the northern part of the county. The second request was denied, but the state granted the Ramsay Park expansion that is now going into effect.
