The county is urging people fill out a brief survey from United Policyholders to understand more about the fire recovery process. It is intended to help to track progress, identify problems and gather information about insurance coverage in fire-impacted areas.
The survey is anonymous, and results will be based on aggregate data and not include personally identifiable information.
United Policyholders is a non-profit organization working to support the recovery process in collaboration with the Santa Cruz County Long Term Recovery Group (LTRG). The LTRG is a collaboration of organizations that are working together to share information and resources to help individuals and families affected by the CZU fires.
Those taking the survey will be entered into a drawing to win a $50 Amazon gift card should they wish.
