Their story: Think Local First County of Santa Cruz is a network of independent and locally owned businesses and community organizations joining together to promote economic vitality and preserve the unique character of our community.

Think Local First (TLF) formed around its mission to promote and sustain economic vitality while preserving the unique character of Santa Cruz County. Its founding members believe that if the community rallies around locally owned businesses and makes a conscious effort to shop at local stores then everyone will benefit. Locally owned business will prosper and more of the residents hard-earned money will continue to circulate within the community—a huge benefit to the local infrastructure and community health.
