Wednesday, 1:53 a.m. – Longtime Cabrillo College Foundation member Karen Cogswell is maintaining an early lead in the race for the Cabrillo College trustee Area 6 seat with Santa Cruz Metro bus driver Ben Finke and workforce development executive Milissa Ales-Barnicoat trailing.

Cogswell had 59% of the vote (6,351 of 13,808 votes counted) while Finke had 21.4% (2,310) and Ales-Barnicoat had 18.9% (2,040 votes) as of early Wednesday morning.
