After polls close on Election Night, it always takes days — and sometimes weeks — for all the votes to be counted. The Santa Cruz County Clerk’s office oversees the process and regularly releases updated tallies in the days following election day.

The next update is scheduled for 4 p.m. Thursday. County Clerk Tricia Webber told Lookout on Thursday that the office will also post updates on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, each at 4 p.m. You can catch up on all of Lookout’s free election coverage on our Election Central page here.
