Jesse Finfrock
Board Member
Jesse Finfrock is an attorney on the forefront of social entrepreneurship and impact investing.
His expertise includes entity structuring, governance, tax-exempt organizations, fund management, ESG reporting, M&A, and financing transactions. In addition to being a board member at Lookout, Jesse is a Lecturer of Law at UC Berkeley Law School and serves as counsel for Kiva Capital, an impact-first asset manager deploying institutional capital toward refugee and displaced populations around the world.
Jesse is a frequently cited expert on social enterprise and impact investment matters, he presents regularly at legal conferences, and he has been published by Bloomberg Law, ABA Publishing, University of Illinois Law Review, Entrepreneur, Daily Journal, TrustLaw, and others.
Prior to law school, Jesse was an investigative journalist for Mother Jones, a reporter at The Daily Journal, and an editor of non-fiction books. Jesse has deep roots in Santa Cruz, where his great-grandfather was a barber.
