Simon Woolever
Simon Woolever is a part-time Events Intern at Lookout Santa Cruz and a communication studies student at San José State University. A Santa Cruz County native, he recently earned his A.A. in communication studies from Cabrillo College and is now working toward his B.A., which he expects to complete in 2026 or 2027.
Simon supports Lookout’s event calendar and “Weekender” content, curating weekly event listings, and collaborating with the team to keep Santa Cruz and Eugene-Springfield audiences informed and engaged.
Outside the newsroom, Simon enjoys running, cycling, going to the gym, reading, watching films and TV, listening to music, playing guitar, and getting outdoors whenever he can.
