Wednesday, 2:45 a.m. – Tony Nuñez maintains an early lead in the District 4 Santa Cruz County Board of Supervisors race over incumbent Felipe Hernandez and community advocate Elias Gonzales. 

Nuñez had 49.6% of the vote (1,917 of 4,162 votes cast) while Hernandez had 33.5% (1,295 votes) and Gonzales 16.2% (628) as of early Wednesday. The next update from the Santa Cruz County elections office is expected at 4 p.m. Thursday.
