Christy Peters
Christy has spent nearly 20 years volunteering in classrooms, sharing her passion for the power of storytelling. Drawing on her background in journalism and a career creating content for companies like Apple and Amazon, she connects students to real-world communication skills. Christy is dedicated to helping the next generation navigate information with confidence. As the parent of two media-savvy kids studying journalism and marketing in college, she practices what she teaches. Since moving to Santa Cruz, she has embraced the beach-town energy: following Lookout to stay connected, sharing the wonders of the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary as an Exploration Center docent, and sailing with her husband.
