Santa Cruz County Realtor Loren Morse is pleased to announce her third annual SPCA fundraiser “Cocktails for Canines”, which will return to the Parish Publick House in Aptos on Sunday, September 22.

Morse is excited to team up once again with the Aptos Parish team to shut down their parking lot from 12pm to 5pm for another fun Sunday outdoor event! This year’s edition of “Cocktails for Canines” is slated to feature live music from local legends The Joint Chiefs; beer and cocktail specials sponsored by Lagunitas, Sante Adairius Rustic Ales, Tito’s Vodka, Santa Cruise Vodka, Triple Dog Whiskey, and Rescue Dog Wines; food specials by the always-excellent kitchen at the Parish; face-painting for all ages by Brenda’s Face Painting; and the opportunity to meet–and maybe even take home–dogs from the SPCA shelter. Thanks also go to Lookout Santa Cruz for their role as a media sponsor.

With last year’s event raising nearly $10,000, “Cocktails for Canines” will also once again feature both a raffle and silent auction with all proceeds being donated to the Santa Cruz SPCA, and will include items and packages donated by local businesses and artists, including:

El Vaquero Winery, Blind the Sun, Coffee Conspiracy, The Painted Cork, Turq and Terra Jewelers, Ashley Plum Lee Photography, Suzy Radonsky Artwork, Essentia Body Therapy, Copper and Jade Salon, Point of Vu Photography, content creator Mike Ross, Bloom Haven Nursery, Desert Moon Design, Wishbone Pet Company, Bronze Palms Spray Tans & Teeth Whitening, TspVanilla Bakery, Matt Falconer from Cross Country Mortgage, and more to be announced!

Event organizer Loren Morse, who was voted Best Realtor in this year’s Good Times ‘Best of Santa Cruz’ campaign, is a Santa Cruz local with an affinity for animal welfare and community stewardship. With every deal she closes, Morse works with the SPCA to pay for the adoption fees for dogs that are the most-needing of homes. Ms. Morse is also a sponsor of Event Santa Cruz and their Friday Night Midtown Concert Series, as well as a member of the Freedom Rotary Club, which will be hosting their third annual Uncork Corralitos event in October.

Entry for this all ages event is $20 and includes 1 Drink Ticket ($15 without), with all proceeds from the door going to the SPCA. Pre-sale tickets are now available HERE.
