Road incidents as of 8:30 p.m. on February 27
- A car crashed into a traffic light at Soquel Ave. and Soquel Ave. E OFR in the Eastside / Live Oak area. Three stop lights were knocked down—two were on the ground and one pole was damaged. Broken glass and other debris were scattered on the road and hit another car. People passing by were seen moving debris. The male driver was walking around after the crash, but it’s not known if anyone was hurt. The incident was reported today.
- Defective traffic signals were reported today at the intersection of State Route 129 and Industrial Road in Watsonville/Pajaro. The issue was first thought to be related to road or weather conditions but was later identified as a problem with the traffic signals by CHP.
- There is a one-way traffic closure on South Highway 9 at Lorenzo Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley because of emergency work. The closure will last until April 1 at 3:59 p.m.

- A traffic collision happened at 1851 SR152 in Watsonville / Pajaro involving a blue Volvo X60 and a blue Honda Accord with a roof rack. No one was hurt. The person who reported the incident said the other driver sped up to block lane changes and suspects the other driver may be trying to scam them. The incident was reported today.
