As part of the 4th Annual Affordable Housing Month awareness campaign in Santa Cruz County, Housing Santa Cruz County is offering a diverse lineup of events, workshops, and other community engagement activities to encourage Santa Cruz County residents to learn, engage, and act to advance affordable housing solutions.

The month’s festivities will officially kick off on May 4 at 4pm at the Hotel Paradox, with a presentation and discussion with Dr Margot Kushel, MD, a renowned expert in homelessness research and solutions. Drawing on her three decades of experience in the field, Dr. Kushel will offer new insights into the causes, consequences, and solutions to homelessness. Tickets to this event are available here.

More events and activities will subsequently unfold over the course of the month, offering a comprehensive guide for community members looking to participate and contribute to the conversation around affordable housing.
