A veteran jack-of-all-trades journalist who is Lookout’s copy editor, writes and compiles Morning Lookout newsletter and produces Lookout’s other editorial newsletters and helps run Lookout’s social media presence, Will McCahill’s previous stops include ESPN, Newser and the San Jose Mercury News. The University of Michigan alum’s connection with Santa Cruz County dates back nearly 20 years, from getting married at Kennolyn to a move downtown, 20 years of Wharf to Wharfs and counting and now to Soquel, where he lives with his wife, two children and a rotating cast of dogs, cats and other pets.
