Caltrans is continuing its four-day paving project on Highway 9 in Boulder Creek and Brookdale through Thursday. Work will be done from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
This project will repair and resurface the asphalt pavement at designated locations to improve road conditions. To ensure safety and clear the way for the construction process, one-way traffic control will be implemented in the construction zone. Bicyclists and pedestrians are advised to use the side opposite of the construction zone, while motorists should plan for longer travel times and expect delays of up to 20 to 30 minutes.
Construction on Tuesday will take place along southbound Highway 9 from River Street to Mountain Street in Boulder Creek, with potential limited access to certain streets and businesses. Wednesday’s work will affect northbound Highway 9 from Larkspur Street in Brookdale to Irwin Way in Boulder Creek, while Thursday’s will be along southbound Highway 9 from Irwin Way to Larkspur Street.
