Road incidents as of 8:30 p.m. on March 6
- South Highway 9 at Lorenzo Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley has one lane closed for emergency work. Traffic is being controlled in one direction at a time. This is expected to last until April 1 at 3:59 p.m.
- Traffic was stopped at Highway 9 and Bear Creek Rd in San Lorenzo Valley due to road or weather conditions. A flagger was directing traffic, but there were no warning signs beforehand, which caused a driver to brake suddenly. CAL TRANS and possibly a contractor were notified. This was reported today.
- A lane on westbound SR-152 at Clifford Drive/Ohlone Parkway in Watsonville and Pajaro is closed for asphalt paving. The closure is expected to last until July 3.
- A yellow Ford Escape and a black Cadillac collided at 295 Soquel Ave. in Eastside / Live Oak at 4:54 p.m. today. No one was hurt. After the crash, the male driver of the black Cadillac tried to punch the other driver. Tow trucks were called for both vehicles.
- A vehicle hit boulders on the easement between a property and Cutter Cove at 78 Cutter Dr in Watsonville / Pajaro, then continued up the road to visit a neighbor and struck another boulder nearby. Emergency services were called to the scene today.
