The driver of a black Honda suffered minor injuries in a car crash involving a school bus in Watsonville on Tuesday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened around 8:19 a.m. on Green Valley Road, said CHP spokesperson Israel Murillo. Three other cars were involved in the accident with minor damages, and none of the drivers were injured. The high school-age students on the school bus and its driver were not injured in the crash.

Green Valley Road was briefly closed following the crash, said Murillo, and as of Tuesday afternoon the road was open again. CHP officers were still investigating the cause of the crash; Murillo could not provide details on where the bus was heading.
