I have a U.S. Postal Service complaint for you. They have changed out the mailboxes on the backside of Bookshop Santa Cruz on Front Street – the ones that enabled you to drive up and drop in mail without getting out of the car. The slots jutted out.Â
This is very valuable for us disabled. Now, the new mailboxes require you to stop your car and step out of your car, if you are able to, to reach the mail slot. Some of us don’t have a long reach, and those drive-thru mailboxes were/are big help for the disabled.
Take a look – try it out by driving, through. What’s wrong with the postal service? Is Trump designing them?
