Property code violations

County officials cite property owners for issues such as substandard housing, illegal uses of buildings, property maintenance, abandoned appliances or furniture, construction without permits, and other issues that affect public safety and quality of life.

  • A code violation notice has been issued for the property at 151 Rancho Rd., Watsonville, under case number NV25362. The citation is for disturbing sensitive habitat, specifically oak woodland and salamander habitat, on the parcel. This violation concerns activities that have negatively impacted these environmentally sensitive areas, which are likely protected under local or state environmental regulations. It is important to note that the violation is related to environmental protection and land use compliance, not to any structural or construction issues on the property.
