Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region
- Alternating lanes on North Highway 1 at 41st Avenue in Capitola/Soquel are closed for a striping operation. The closure is expected to end at 4:59 a.m. on May 5.
- South Highway 1 in Capitola/Soquel is facing closures for roadway excavation. The closure is expected to end at 6:30 a.m. on August 29.
- Long-term projects: On Sims Road, a single lane is closed from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. due to a pipeline project. This affects the area from Brook Knoll Road to 600 La Madrona Drive, with traffic control in place.
On Richmond Drive, near Portola Drive at 24th Avenue, expect traffic delays and lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. due to a pump station upgrade project. Construction will also occur on April 12-13 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting.
