  • The Hot Pink Box Dessert Co LLC at 100 Enterprise Way, Scotts Valley, passed a county health inspection on Apr. 10 with no critical issues.

Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region

  • Long-term projects: Sims Road and La Madrona Drive: A single lane is closed from Brook Knoll Road to 600 La Madrona Drive due to a pipeline project. The closure is from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily and will last until February 2026. Highway 1: There are overnight ramp and lane closures between Soquel Drive and 41st Avenue for final striping. This is part of a project to add auxiliary lanes and bus-on-shoulder improvements. The closures are happening from April 13 to today.
