A crash, a camera and our community: How I became a Pulitzer Prize-winning photojournalist

Lookout photographer Kevin Painchaud details the car accident that almost killed him when he was 15 and how his accident shaped how he now sees the world and photographs it. Painchaud was part of the Lookout team that won the 2024 Pulitzer Prize in breaking news for coverage of the 2023 storms.
