Join Community Health Trust of Pajaro Valley for Wine & Roses, its 43rd annual fundraiser, on Saturday, Nov. 7, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Crosetti Hall at the Santa Cruz County Fairgrounds. This year’s Casino Rosal theme brings a new twist to the longtime community celebration, combining local food and beverage tastings, casino-style games, exclusive prizes and a silent auction — all in support of programs that help Pajaro Valley residents live healthier lives.

Guests can sample local wines and craft beers, enjoy food from area restaurants and caterers, and bid on unique auction items and experiences. Participating vendors include Storrs Winery, Bargetto Winery, Equinox Winery, Humble Sea Brewing and Fruition Brewing, with more to come. Auction highlights include local and international travel packages, double magnums from local wineries, wine-tasting experiences, a classic car rental package from Monterey Touring Vehicles and a San Francisco Giants autographed photo.

Casino Rosal adds another reason to join the festivities. Guests can try their luck at casino-style games for the chance to win exclusive raffle prizes, separate from the event’s main raffle featuring a trip to Tahoe. Whether you come for the tastings, the auction or the opportunity to connect with fellow community members, your participation helps make a difference across the Pajaro Valley.

Every ticket supports Community Health Trust of Pajaro Valley’s work to make health and wellness resources more accessible. The local nonprofit invests in preventive health programs focused on nutrition education, food access, chronic disease prevention and management, and grants for local nonprofits. These efforts help children, families and individuals access resources that support healthier lives and a more equitable community.

This year’s fundraiser also marks an exciting milestone for CHT: the anticipated early 2027 opening of Centro de Bienestar, a new wellness center at 112 E. Beach St. in downtown Watsonville. The center will bring CHT’s programs and services together in a more accessible location, building on the organization’s work across three interconnected pillars: Food, Wellness and Care.

“Wine & Roses has brought our community together for 43 years, and we’re continually inspired by the generosity of the people and businesses who make this event possible,” said Executive Director DeAndre’ James. “This year is especially meaningful as we look ahead to the opening of Centro de Bienestar in early 2027. This new space represents an important step forward in our work to connect individuals and families with the resources they need to thrive.”
