Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region
- A crash involving a red Honda CRV and a silver Toyota sedan happened at Salinas Rd and Werner Rd at 5:38 a.m. today. One person was trapped in a vehicle and crying, and three people had moderate injuries. Emergency crews responded, and the cars were moved to the right-hand shoulder. The crash caused traffic backups and tow trucks were needed.
- A gray Honda Civic crashed into the center divider while speeding on Highway 1 South at Highway 17 South, near the Highway 1 South Connector in the Eastside / Live Oak area. The car ended up on the right-hand shoulder, facing northbound in the southbound lane. It was occupied at the time, and it’s not known if there were any injuries. The incident was reported today.
