The race for the Pajaro Valley Unified School District’s Trustee Area V seat features retired longtime district employee Alicia Jimenez and craftsman Curt Wilcox, who are competing for an open seat after incumbent Olivia Flores decided not to seek reelection.
A third candidate, Jennifer Schacher, will also appear on the November ballot but has said she will not actively campaign for the seat, saying she will instead focus on family. Her name remains on the ballot because she withdrew after the deadline for removing candidates.
