Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on July 15
- Southbound Highway 1 in Capitola/Soquel is facing closures for roadway excavation. The closure will continue until 6:30 a.m. on August 29.
Long-term projects
These have been going on for a while, but are still worth keeping in mind.
- A single lane on Sims Road, from Brook Knoll Road to 600 La Madrona Drive, is closed for a pipeline project. The closure is in effect daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with traffic control measures in place.
- Richmond Drive at Portola Drive and 24th Avenue will be closed due to the Rodeo pump station capacity upgrade project. Expect traffic delays and lane closures on Richmond and Portola Drive, weather permitting. Construction is scheduled for April 12-13 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
