The Santa Cruz County Commission on Disabilities will be hosting this year’s Kudos Awards ceremony to honor local businesses, organizations and individuals that have gone above and beyond to provide access and/or services for persons with disabilities. This virtual awards ceremony will take place on Zoom on Saturday at 3 p.m.
The following individuals will be recognized with 2025 Kudos Awards:
- Aric Sleeper, PK Hattis and Shmuel Thaler – Santa Cruz Sentinel staff
- Rachael Marion-Tsukamaki and Mike Rockafellow – Challenger Little League
- Henry Bertram, Andrew Sterbenz and Erick Sturm – Shared Adventures Archery
- Beth Stiles – disability advocate
- Rebecca Sheen – disability advocate, Community Life Services
- Griselda Aguirre – disability advocate, Community Life Services
Winners are given improved access and enhanced opportunities to help individuals with disabilities to better participate, engage, and contribute within our community.
