▼︎ new incidents ▼︎ long-term incidents
Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on October 14
- Defective traffic signals were reported early today at 4:39 a.m. at the intersection of Green Valley Road and Paulsen Road in Corralitos / Freedom. Power was restored later in the day at 3:22 p.m., according to PG&E.
- A traffic crash happened on October 13 at 11:16 p.m. on northbound Highway 1 near Trafton, in a field next to the highway between Watsonville and Pajaro. Two vehicles were involved, and one rolled over into the field, ending up with both doors open and a cracked windshield. There were minor injuries. Recovery of the vehicle was delayed because of wet ground and mud, so it stayed in the field for a while after the crash.
- There is a one-way traffic closure on North Highway 9 at Prospect Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley because of emergency work. The closure is expected to end at 3:59 p.m. on December 5.
Long-term projects
These have been going on for a while, but are still worth keeping in mind.
- PG&E has started work to replace a gas main in the Arroyo and Jolon Drive neighborhood off Green Valley Road in Corralitos / Freedom. There is a soft closure in the area, and construction is expected to continue through November 25.
- Richmond Drive at Portola Drive and 24th Avenue in Twin Lakes (Eastside / Live Oak) is closed because project work is taking longer than expected due to unexpected conditions. The road will stay closed until the project is finished.
