Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on October 20
- A vehicle was reported as a traffic hazard at 525 30th Ave. in Eastside / Live Oak at 9:22 p.m. today. The vehicle had not moved for several hours and was blocking a driveway.
- CHP helped with construction on northbound Highway 1 at Park in Capitola / Soquel. At 8:34 p.m., a break at the State Park led to the closure of the northbound park entrance. This was reported today.
- There is a one-way traffic closure on North Highway 9 at Prospect Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley because of emergency work. The closure is expected to end at 3:59 p.m. on December 5.
Long-term projects
These have been going on for a while, but are still worth keeping in mind.
- Richmond Drive at Portola Drive and 24th Avenue in Twin Lakes is closed because project work is taking longer than expected. The road will stay closed until October 31 due to unexpected issues.
- PG&E has started work to replace a gas main in the Arroyo and Jolon Drive neighborhood off Green Valley Road in Corralitos / Freedom. There is a soft road closure in the area, and construction is expected to continue through November 25.
