Road incidents as of 8:30 p.m. on November 6
- A hit and run happened around 6:46 p.m. today on southbound Highway 1 at Salinas Road near Watsonville and Pajaro. Another driver cut off the reporting party’s vehicle, causing it to go off the road and into a ditch about 15 feet down. No one was hurt. A tow truck was called for the vehicle.
- There is a one-way traffic closure on North Highway 9 at Prospect Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley because of emergency work. The closure is expected to end at 3:59 p.m. on December 5.
Long-term projects
These have been going on for a while, but are still worth keeping in mind.
- PG&E has started work to replace a gas main in the Arroyo and Jolon Drive neighborhood off Green Valley Road in Corralitos / Freedom. There is a soft road closure in the area, and construction is expected to continue through November 25.
