Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks is kicking off the holiday season by hosting its annual ParkStore holiday sale at four separate locations on Dec. 6 and 7 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Established in 1976, Friends has partnered with California State Parks by operating a nature-themed ParkStores online and at four locations (Natural Bridges State Beach, Santa Cruz Mission State Historic Park, Seacliff State Beach and Wilder Ranch State Park) where sales benefit local state parks and beaches.
ParkStores feature gifts such as jewelry, maps, toys, nature guides, apparel and Michael Schwab park illustrations.
The holiday sale offers a 20% discount on gifts to the general public, and Friends members will receive a discount of up to 30%. Customers can become a member online before the sale or at one of the ParkStore locations.
