The theater season is still in full swing, including two shows recently reviewed by Lookout contributor Jana Marcus playing through the weekend.
In Marcus’ review, she described “Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead,” SH Theatrical’s debut production at Actors’ Theatre in downtown Santa Cruz, as “thoughtful without becoming ponderous, wonderfully funny without losing sight of the darker questions lurking underneath. Marcus also said that All About Theatre’s adult production of “Dear Evan Hansen,” at the Colligan Theater in Santa Cruz, is an “emotionally complicated story with strong vocals, some terrific performances and a technical design that steals the show.” Check out that review here. – Lily Belli
