On Saturday, the sixth annual Purrrrrrfest (the name gains an “r” every year) comes to the Blue Lagoon in downtown Santa Cruz. The annual benefit will donate all proceeds to the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter’s Laurie Roberts Bogey Fund, which reduces adoption fees for black cats. This year, local metal acts Unholy Things, Eldrith, Stumpgrinder and Authors of Fate are billed to bring the noise to this community show.
