Here, find a curated list of the best food and drink events in Santa Cruz County for the coming week. At the top, I share my picks of unmissable local happenings.

The famed Capitola Art & Wine Festival returns to Capitola Village this Saturday and Sunday starting at 10 a.m. The two-day event features tasting with more than 20 Santa Cruz Mountains wineries alongside more than more than a hundred fine artists, plus food vendors and street performers in one of Santa Cruz County’s most idyllic seaside settings. The event is free to enter; event wine glasses are $15 and tasting tokens are $1 each. The festival is a fundraiser for the Capitola-Soquel Chamber of Commerce.

Teen Kitchen Project is hosting its annual Farm Dinner Fundraiser at the idyllic Everett Family Farm in Soquel this Saturday evening. This annual event is the local nonprofit’s major fundraiser to support its afterschool programs and meal delivery service for in-need county residents. This year, former Hollins House and Venus Spirits chef John Paul Lechtenberg is preparing the family-style meal, with help from teens participating in the program. Beer from Discretion Brewing in Soquel and Laura Everett’s Soquel Cider will be served, along with local wines and alcohol-free beverages. Tickets are $185.
