Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on July 18
- South Highway 1 in Capitola/Soquel is facing closures for roadway excavation. The closure will last until 6:30 a.m. on August 29.
Long-term projects
These have been going on for a while, but are still worth keeping in mind.
- A single lane on Sims Road and La Madrona Drive, from Brook Knoll Road to 600 La Madrona Drive, is closed for the SCWD and SLVWD pipeline project. The closure is in effect daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with traffic control measures in place.
- Richmond Drive and Portola Drive at 24th Avenue will have road closures and traffic delays due to the Rodeo pump station capacity upgrade project. Construction is scheduled for April 12-13 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting.
