Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on June 6
- South Highway 1 in Capitola/Soquel is facing closures for roadway excavation. The closure will end at 6:30 a.m. on August 29.
Long-term projects
These have been going on for a while, but are still worth keeping in mind.
- A single lane is closed on Sims Road and La Madrona Drive, from Brook Knoll Road to 600 La Madrona Drive, due to a pipeline project. The closure is in effect daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with traffic control measures in place. The project is expected to continue until February 2026.
- Richmond Drive at Portola Drive and 24th Avenue is closed due to the Rodeo pump station capacity upgrade project. Expect traffic delays and lane closures on Richmond and Portola Drive at 24th Avenue, weather permitting. Construction is scheduled for April 12-13 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. each day.
