Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region

  • A lane on westbound Highway 152 at Clifford Drive/Ohlone Parkway is closed for asphalt paving. The closure is expected to last until July 3.
      
  • There is one-way traffic on Highway 129 at the Salsipuedes Creek Bridge because of bridge work. This closure will last until 6:01 a.m. tomorrow.
     
  • There is a lane closed on eastbound and westbound Highway 152 at Jefferson Street because of curb, gutter, and sidewalk work. The closure will end today at 2:59 p.m.
     
  • There is a lane closed on eastbound and westbound Highway 129 at Highway 1 because of curb, gutter, and sidewalk work. The closure will end today at 2:59 p.m.
     
  • There is a lane closed on Highway 129 at Salsipuedes Creek Bridge for curb, gutter, and sidewalk work. The closure is expected to end at 2:59 p.m. today. 

Community crime report

  • A person was arrested for violating a protective order and entering a home without permission by going through a window. The incident happened near the 100 block of W. Fifth Street, Watsonville. It occurred at noon on June 11. (source)
     
  • Police responded to a vandalism incident where someone threw an object at a vehicle, damaging it. This happened near the 200 block of Rodriguez Street in Watsonville at 2 p.m. on June 11. The suspect, who was known to the victim, was arrested for felony vandalism. (source)
