Road incidents as of 8:30 p.m. on January 30

  • South Highway 17 at Sugarloaf Road in Scotts Valley is facing closures for emergency work. The closure is expected to end at 4:59 a.m. tomorrow.
     
  • South Highway 9 at Lorenzo Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley has one-way traffic because of emergency work. This closure will last until April 1 at 3:59 p.m.
     
  • South Highway 1 at Soquel Drive in Eastside / Live Oak is facing closures for K-rail installation. The closure is expected to end at 5:59 a.m. on February 2.
     
  • The Soquel Ave. onramp to southbound Highway 1 in Santa Cruz County will be closed overnight starting Sunday, February 1 at 9 p.m. The ramp will reopen at 6 a.m. on Monday, February 2.
     
  • One lane of North Highway 9 at Encinal Street in the Westside/Downtown area is closed for shoulder work. The closure will last until February 28 at 3:01 p.m.
     
  • A lane is closed on westbound SR-152 at Clifford Drive/Ohlone Parkway in Watsonville/Pajaro for asphalt paving. The closure will last until July 3 at 5:59 a.m.
     
  • Highway 9 at Pool Drive in San Lorenzo Valley has alternating lane closures because of bridge work. The closures are expected to end at 4:59 p.m. on February 2.
     
  • A lane on West SR-129 at Harvest Drive in Watsonville / Pajaro is closed for utility work. The closure is expected to end at 3:01 p.m. on February 2.
     
  • One-way traffic control is in place on SR-236 at Glen Way in San Lorenzo Valley because of tree work. The closure is expected to end at 2:30 p.m. on February 2.
     
  • There was a traffic incident reported today at Capitola Ave. and Wilder Dr, near Capitola and Soquel.
