Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on October 3

  • Northbound Highway 9 at Prospect Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley is under one-way traffic control for emergency work. The closure is expected to end at 3:59 p.m. on December 5.
     
  • Glenwood Cutoff at 498 Glenwood Cutoff in Scotts Valley will be fully closed today from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for power pole replacement work by MPG Underground.
     

Long-term projects

These have been going on for a while, but are still worth keeping in mind.

  • Richmond Drive at Portola Drive and 24th Avenue in Twin Lakes is closed because project work is taking longer than expected. The road will stay closed until October 31 due to unexpected issues.
     
  • PG&E has started work to replace a gas main in the Arroyo and Jolon Drive neighborhood off Green Valley Road in Corralitos / Freedom. Construction is underway and will continue through November 25, with a soft closure in the area.
     
  • Lockhart Gulch Rd will be completely closed at 598 Lockhart Gulch Rd in Scotts Valley today from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for underground anchor installation work by MGE Underground.
