Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on October 16
- A traffic collision between an electric bicycle and a pickup truck happened at 53 Porter Dr in Watsonville / Pajaro at 8:36 p.m. today. Minor injuries were reported.
- A gray Audi sedan and another vehicle were involved in a crash on 52 Sill Rd, just east of Las Lomas, Watsonville / Pajaro. Both cars ended up on the right shoulder, and debris was scattered in both directions of the road. At first, someone was thought to be stuck in a vehicle, but it was later confirmed that no one was hurt. Fire and tow crews responded to the scene. The incident was reported today.
- South Highway 1 at Park Avenue in Capitola / Soquel is facing closures for paving work. The closure is expected to end at 7:01 a.m. on Nov. 19.
- There are alternating lane closures in both directions on Highway 9 at Pool Drive in San Lorenzo Valley because of bridge work. The closures are expected to end at 6:59 a.m. on April 30, 2027.
