Hopefully, the conflicting statements by the City of Santa Cruz and its expert marine engineer will shed light on insinuations by the city that the wharf collapse is attributable to seagulls and lawsuits filed by Don’t Morph the Wharf — a group of city residents interested in ensuring the wharf master plan keeps it safe, accessible and attractive to tourists and locals.
