- A three-car crash happened on Highway 1 North near RDM in Aptos today. A white Isuzu box truck, a green Subaru SUV, and a silver Mercedes were involved. All vehicles were moved to the right shoulder, and no one was hurt. The people involved were out of their cars taking photos.
- On December 21, several roads in Santa Cruz County were closed, including Cathedral Dr at Mattison Ln, Varni Rd at Corralitos, and Empire Rd to Empire Grade. Cathedral Dr at Mattison Ln was still closed as of 5:24 p.m. and was expected to reopen at 6:30 p.m. Varni Rd at Corralitos reopened at 6:37 a.m. The closures involved hard barriers and notifications from PG&E. The affected areas include Aptos.
- A lane on North Highway 9 at Fern Street in Westside / Downtown is closed for utility work. The closure is expected to end at 2:30 p.m. today.

- A lane is closed on East/West SR-152 at Lincoln St. and Beach St. in Watsonville/Pajaro because of utility work. The closure is expected to end at 3:01 p.m. today.
