Property development

  • The Santa Cruz County Planning Department has formally approved a zoning application on April 1, for a project at 612 Middlefield Dr. The project involves the renewal of a permit allowing the continued operation of a three-bedroom vacation rental within an existing single-family home. Under the renewed permit, the property may be rented out for overnight stays of no more than 30 days at a time. The home is located in the Aptos Planning Area, and the renewal required approval of a Vacation Rental Permit. (view application)
