Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on May 22
- PG&E closed Jarvis Rd at Hall Ranch Rd in Scotts Valley for electrical work starting at 9:00 a.m. The road was supposed to reopen by 5:00 p.m., but it stayed closed because the work was not finished. PG&E said the road would be closed for two more hours, with crews still working and an estimated completion time of 8:00 p.m. Residents tried to contact PG&E but were unable to reach them. This was reported today.
- A hit and run happened at Railroad Ave. and CRG12 in Watsonville/Pajaro today. A man backed into someone’s car, causing damage and a verbal argument, then drove away. The suspect was last seen heading north on Salinas Rd. The incident was reported to CHP.
