Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region

  • A lane is closed on Highway 129 at Highway 1 in Watsonville for curb, gutter, and sidewalk work. The closure is expected to end today at 2:59 p.m. 

Community crime report

  • A person was arrested for being drunk in public and violating probation terms. The incident happened near the 100 block of Lawrence Avenue, Watsonville, at 6 p.m. on May 21. The person was taken to county jail and faces charges for disorderly conduct due to alcohol and probation violation. (source)
