Community crime report

  • A 50-year-old man was arrested for making criminal threats with the intent to terrorize, specifically threatening to kill a 69-year-old victim. The incident occurred inside an apartment near the 200 block of Pajaro Ln, Watsonville. It happened at 3 p.m. on April 14. (source)

Roadwork is affecting traffic near you

  • Long-term projects: Green Valley Road between Holohan Road and Mesa Verde Road will have single lane closures from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The work is expected to finish by April 30th, weather permitting.
