Property development

  • A permit application has been filed for 480 6TH Avenue in Santa Cruz, proposing several updates to the previously approved plans for the property. The project seeks to remove a planned second-floor deck above the driveway, add a trellis to the existing second-floor deck on the northwest side of the house, and update the exterior colors and materials. These modifications require a minor variation to the coastal development permit that was previously approved for this address. (view details)
     

Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region

  • Northbound Highway 9 at Prospect Avenue in San Lorenzo Valley is down to one-way traffic because of emergency work. This is expected to last until 3:59 p.m. on December 5.
