Property development

  • A permit application has been filed for a project at 21511 E. Cliff Dr., approximately 250 feet north of the intersection with 16th Avenue. The proposal involves remodeling the existing market into a deli that will offer both indoor and outdoor dining for more than 12 people. The project also includes plans for off-site beer and wine sales, the installation of skylights, and the placement of screened equipment on the roof.   • The Santa Cruz County Planning Department has received a zoning application for a project at 260 12th Ave. The proposal seeks to renew a permit that allows the existing single-family home at this address to operate as a two-bedroom vacation rental, permitting overnight stays of up to 30 days at a time.
