Road incidents as of 9:30 p.m. on May 4
- Northbound Highway 1 at Main St. in Watsonville/Pajaro was closed for construction work with help from CHP today.
- A lane on westbound SR-152 at Clifford Drive/Ohlone Parkway in Watsonville and Pajaro is closed for asphalt paving. The closure is expected to last until July 3.
- CHP helped with construction work at the intersection of Highway 1 North and State Park in Aptos today.
Long-term projects

- Daytime closure of one northbound lane on Highway 17 between Santas Village Rd. and Vine Hill Rd. in Santa Cruz County for tree removal work has been postponed to the week of today due to weather conditions.
- There will be one-way reversing traffic on Highway 9 at San Lorenzo River and Kings Creek in Boulder Creek during the week of May 4. A temporary traffic signal will control traffic in both directions at different times, Monday through Friday, during the daytime.
