Roadwork is affecting traffic in the region

• The southbound lanes of Highway 1 in Capitola/Soquel are facing closures for road excavation. This closure will continue until August 29 at 6:30 a.m.
   
• Long-term projects: A single lane on Sims Road, from Brook Knoll Road to 600 La Madrona Drive, is closed for a pipeline project. The closure is in effect daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with traffic control in place. Richmond Drive at Portola Drive and 24th Avenue will experience traffic delays and lane closures due to a pump station upgrade project. This construction is scheduled for April 12-13 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting.
